Brittany Lara
Brittany Lara
Preschool Director
My name is Brittany Lara and I am the Preschool Director at Shiloh Baptist Church. I was born and raised in Plant City, Florida and I am the oldest of five children, four girls and one boy. I grew up in a Christian home and came to know Christ at a young age. I grew up in church and learned about God’s love, mercy and grace. Those lessons came to life as I became a teenager and young adult and strayed from His side. As I grow older and have my own children, I see how important it is for a person to know that God’s love is unconditional and we can come to Him just as we are. I am married to Daniel Lara and we have five children: Destiny, Josiah, Hailey, Nevaeh and Elijah. We are active members here at Shiloh Baptist Church; we work in the Lil K program and are involved in the Spanish Ministry. I have been working here at SBC Preschool as Director since July 2008. Although I have been a trainer and manager at businesses in the past, this is my first time in the childcare field. It has truly been a rewarding experience. It is my hope and prayer that not only for us to witness and reach out to the little ones with the love of Christ but that our actions will also speak to their families.

Becca Villanueva
Becca Villanueva
1 Year Old Teacher
My name is Becca Villanueva. I grew up in Plant City and currently attend St. Clement Church. I have a wonderful husband, Oscar, and we have two sweet boys, Little Oscar and Adrian. The thing I love to do most is spend time with my family. I love to cheer for my sons on the soccer field, watch kid movies, go on vacations and spend quality time with my family at home. I enjoy being with children so much! I have worked in child care since 2005. This is my second year working at Shiloh Baptist Church Preschool. Currently, I am one of the One Year Old Teachers. It is so amazing to watch the children grow mentally and physically. I can honestly say that I am blessed to be a part of this preschool!

Julie Snyder
1 Year Old Teacher
My name is Julie Snyder and I am a One Year Old Teacher at Shiloh Preschool. I am originally from Piqua, Ohio but have lived in Tampa since 1971. My husband, Paul, and I met at Idlewild Baptist Church and married there in 1984. We have two children: Philip, born in 1987 and Sarah, born in 1990. It was for them that I opened my own home childcare in 1990 and ran it for 19 years. I was saved as a child but never grew as a Christian. I was very content and complacent with my role as a Christian but I never got to know Jesus. It was well into adulthood before realizing that I wanted to know personally, to have a real relationship with the man who paid suge a huge price for my sin. And that's become my goal. I love working with children. To love them and hold them - there is just nothing better.

Jessica Guy
Jessica Guy
2 Year Old Teacher
My name is Jessica Guy. I am a Two Year Old Teacher at Shiloh Preschool. This is my second year working at SBC Preschool and working with children. It has been an amazing ride and a fun experience. I am currently in college and pursuing a degree in business. I have been going Shiloh Baptist Church since the age of two. At the age of five, I made the most important decision of my life and received Christ as my Savior. I grew up in church, but was also very blessed to be able to go to a Christian school during my entire educational experience. I think that it is very important for children to be in a good Christian environment to help establish good morals and values. I may not be the person I am today if it were not for my ability to be in a good Christian environment that teaches good morals and values, and these morals and values were instilled in me at a young age. I have been very blessed in my life with many opportunities, including the opportunity of working with the children in my class..

Rachel Willis
Rachel Willis
4 Year Old Teacher
My salvation was not one of radical change. I never looked at the depths of my sin and turned away. I have been raised in church my whole life. Both of my parents have been in the ministry and I never knew anything but church. I was saved at the age of four. Though I might not have understood the full concept, I knew that I wanted Jesus in my heart so I could one day spend eternity with him. Like any Christian, I am constantly growing. I’m not perfect and there are times where I feel like I need to go back and start all over but I can have true relief in knowing that as a Christian I am always welcome back in the arms of Christ.
